Description
The Virginia Central Railway Trail follows an old rail line on a 10-foot-wide paved path, which makes it one of the easiest bike rides in the area for kids still finding their balance. The city section runs 2.7 miles from the Cobblestone area off Lafayette Boulevard to near Idlewild, just past I-95, and Spotsylvania's section continues from Gordon Road. There is a bike rack at the trailhead, and it is open year round.
