We work hard to keep event dates, hours, prices, deals and business details accurate, but things change and we can’t guarantee that every detail is current or complete. Please confirm the details with the event organizer or business before you go. Our content is for general information only and is not professional, medical, legal or financial advice.
Your safety and your family’s safety are your responsibility. Please use your own judgment about whether an activity, place or business is right for your family.
Events, listings and deals
Many events, directory listings and deals on the site are provided by local businesses and organizers. They are responsible for their own events, products, services, offers and promo codes, and any purchase or booking you make is between you and them. Deals may change, expire or have conditions set by the business.
Some content on the site is paid for by local businesses or earns us a commission. Our Advertising Disclosure explains how that works.
Giveaways
Each giveaway has its own Official Rules, posted with that giveaway. Those rules control eligibility, how winners are chosen and how prizes are delivered. If a giveaway’s rules conflict with these terms, the giveaway rules apply to that giveaway.
What you send us
When you submit an event, a business listing, a deal, a comment, a photo or any other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate. You give Fredericksburg Moms permission to publish, edit for length and clarity, and share that content on the site, in our newsletter and on our social media accounts. You keep ownership of what you send.
We may review, edit, decline or remove any submission at any time, including content that is inaccurate, outdated, off-topic, promotional spam or inappropriate for a family audience.
Paid listings and advertising
Featured listings, display ads, sponsored content and other paid placements are also covered by the terms of the package you purchase. Fees are generally non-refundable once a placement has started, unless your agreement with us says otherwise.
Using our content
The articles, guides, photos, graphics and logo on the site belong to Fredericksburg Moms or the people who created them. You’re welcome to share a link to any page. Please don’t copy, republish or sell our content, or use our name or logo, without written permission.
Please don’t
- Post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, misleading or unsafe for families
- Impersonate another person or business, or submit listings for a business you don’t represent
- Send spam, enter giveaways with fake or multiple accounts, or use bots to enter or collect information
- Try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, booking pages, social media and stores. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices or what they sell.

No warranties and limits on liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, Fredericksburg Moms is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, relying on its content, attending an event, or dealing with a business, organizer or advertiser featured on it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Fredericksburg, Virginia.
