The Virginia Outdoor Center (VOC) on Fall Hill Avenue offers outdoor adventure summer camps for kids and teens on the Rappahannock River and surrounding natural areas. Camp activities may include kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, wilderness skills, and river exploration. The VOC has been operating outdoor programs in Fredericksburg for decades and is the area's premier outdoor education outfitter.
