The evening starts with a half-hour Junior Astronomer program for kids, followed by a talk on dark skies and space news from NASA Jet Propulsion Lab Ambassadors. Then the Northern Virginia Astronomy Club opens its telescopes for everyone to look through. Bring lawn chairs or blankets; entrance gates close one hour before the program ends.
