ASSIST Disability Services Hosts “Play It Forward” Mini-Golf Fundraiser – A Free Community Event for Families
Spotsylvania, VA – ASSIST Disability Services invites the community to a fun-filled, family-friendly afternoon at its “Play It Forward Mini-Golf Fundraiser” on Saturday, May 2, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wilderness Presidential Resort in Spotsylvania. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, May 3.
This free community event is designed to bring families together for a day of connection, fun, and inclusion—while raising awareness and support for local families of children with disabilities.

“This event is all about community,” said representatives from ASSIST Disability Services. “We want families to come out, have fun together, and feel supported. While the event is free to attend, optional donations help us continue providing meaningful resources and support to families who need it most.”
ASSIST Disability Services is a Virginia-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting families of children with special needs by offering practical, individualized resources that enhance everyday life and long-term opportunities.
Local vendors and food will also be on-site, creating a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
